What do we do with you? Apart from the usual mess that that you create. Today you poured water in the peanut jar. Can you please explain this behavior? I laughed when your mom told me about it but she was definitely pissed. So you continue with your tantrums, they are a part of every childs growing up.

Agreed...its been a long time. Sorry. Diwali, Car, my travels all kept me busy. Yes we got our first car a wagon-R. The surprising thing is you were able to recognize it just after seeing it for couple of days. You have developed a liking for chocolates although we have tried to keep you away from the nasty stuff but being my daughter i guess it was inevitable.

You woke up last night at 1:45 in the morning and wreaked havoc till almost 5. Someday you will have kids of your own and i gleefully hope they trouble you as much. Nevertheless, you still a darling.

You know what? Last night when i went to the bathroom to freshen up, i was surprised and overwhelmed to see you at the door with a towel in your hand. Can my baby be any more sweet? Love you peaches...

Dear Sarah,

The wound on your leg as deduced by Dr. Neeta Saboo was an insect bite which you made worse by scratching continuesly. Its healed now. We came back Vengurla early morning today. It seems that you too are claustrophobic like your mom. It was difficult for you to sleep in the three tier AC compartment. We are definitely getting a car before our next trip

Hi Sarah,

How was the trip to Vengurla? Enjoyed? I sure hope so. You had a good time with the all those kids around. Bhairavi seemed to be pretty fond of you. When we went to the river, you did not want to come come out. The same thing when we went to the beach too. You are such a water baby.

Your addiction to milk is proving quite a deterrent. We came back home to a host of issues. Each going away one by one. Till then take care.

4th September

We returned from Nasik yesterday. We kinda had a good time. You were running behind Viraj all the time, which was a problem. Viraj not exactly known for his calm behavior was quite a pain(expected at his age and hope you dont turn out to be as stubborn as him). We will be going to Vengurla tomorrow evening. Hope that trip turns out to be good. we came back from NAsik with a small wound on you leg which surprisingly neither your mom or me came know.

28th August

Keku aatu and Pratick chachu came home last evening, we are heading to Nasik today for Ganpati. You did a lot of masti. You keep running to the bed and jumping and on it. For nth number of time you have also wanted to play with the mop(magic mop that your mommy got). We tried hiding it, but then you do susu all the time and we cant help it be bring it out. Little busy with work so wrapping now.

You werent too much of trouble last night. Yes, at times you are capable of that. Your nails are clipped so you couldnt do a lot of scratching. Oh yes, how can i forget last nite you showered your mom with dozens of kisses but refused to kiss me at all. you actually shaked your head in denial. How rude?

Highlight of the day was you again allowed mommy to drape you in a saree using your duppata and wearing the hat in reverse came a close second.

What do i tell you? you are growing up way too fast. It seems only yesterday when you would rest in my arms and now you run helter skelter, turning the whole world updside down. I'll just brief you now about few of you favorite things

Fav Fruit : Mango and cherries that you started liking off late.

Fav Song : You shake your ass to basically any thing that got some beats but you have taken a special liking to 'Chennai Express' Songs. Crappy movie btw.

Fav Toy: Kitchen Utensils

Fav Color : Pink.....Not actually ur choice, kinda imposed on you

I am not going to explain about why i haven't written all this while. Live with it. Serves you right, for all the scratching that you do. You think you are some french chef reincarnated, everything that you do has to do with some utensils or mixing of food items. If you not wrecking your moms phone, all that you do is playing with utensils. And no, it is not harmless as it sounds,  milk from your sippy cups, water that you drink all end up in clean utensils, that need to be washed again. You waste more food than you eat because of this culinary inclination of yours. Bread slices, cheese slices, rice, daal, biscuits(even oreos) everything according to you needs to redone, essentially they need more water.

last night you added water that was meant for your drinking to mutton that i was eating. And you know the problem with all this? you get away with all this with that smile of yours. Love you baby, always will.

Mango Mania

Technically, this is your first mango season. Last season you were not eligible to have them, you were still on mommy's milk at that time. And god, you have taken a liking to them. The heat is really unbearable and like all toddlers you too are refusing to eat anything else but Mangoes. Today we'll buy you some more, hopefully lots of them. If possible, i'll attach a pic in sometime.

There are many a reasons for this blog. I wont bore you with all of them but let me tell you the most important one. We want you know things our perspective while raising you. You mean the world to us and this should serve are a means to connect to you in better way, we hope.

So lets start from the very beginning, your arrival wasn't exactly planned and we very briefly even contemplated of not having you . And I thank my stars, my gods, my luck and whatever other forces that forbade us from taking that road. It would have been the worst decision we would have ever made. I am sorry for having those thoughts. Hopefully, you would understand and forgive us for that.

You turned one recently, i say that and look at the calender only to realize that its been a month since your birthday. I should have stared writing long time back and I had time on my hand too but i guess i was lazy and also i couldn't get a start that i was pleased with. But i am glad that i finally made a start, hope you like it here and like being with us.

Atleast for now, the posts are in particular order, i'll go with the flow and lets see where this takes us.
